Christmas Coffee Syrup

I’ve been getting coffee at this shop in town, when I go to town which is as few and far between as possible i’d rather spend my days here on the farm. Anyway, they have a latte that’s called beer butter And it taste like a little cup of Christmas. It is perfect for these chilly days on the way. Even though I’ll drink it anytime of year. So I made my own syrup that I thought taste similar to their’s and of course cost me half the price and I don’t even have to leave my house to get this delicious little treat.

Ingredients:

-1 1/2 cups of water

-1 cup of white sugar

-1/2 cup brown sugar

-3 cinnamon sticks

-1/2 tsp. Ground cinnamon

-1/4 tsp all spice

-4 whole cloves or 1/2 tsp ground

-1 1/2 tsp butter extract

Bring all ingredients to a light boil in a sauce pan being careful not to burn the sugar then turn down to a simmer for 10-15 min. It will thicken up. Let cool and place in a jar. Store in the refrigerator. Use 1 tbsp per coffee or to your own taste. Enjoy!
