Love Part 1 (oh yeah there are more parts)

IMG_3518

Love. Such a short word with such strong meaning. It’s what makes the world go around. Life literally could not exist without it. Couldn’t have started without it and couldn’t be sustained without it. People spend a huge portion of their life searching for it and trying to undestand it. I’m here to tell ya I’ve found it! I know the answer! Like a school kid with my hand held high squarming in my seat with the answer. It only took me well into my twenties to figure it out but I’ve got it. Until you can grasp how God feels about you don’t even try to understsnd what love for one another is.

I’m sure you’ve heard “God is love” I know I have heard it throughout my life a lot but always brushed it off like yeah yeah I know God is love, I got it. But really, honestly God is love! There couldn’t be a more truthful statement. He created you just to have a relationship with you. He gave his son for you & died for you. Cares for you everyday all day. Listens and answers you continuously. Not for his own amusement or pleasure but for yours so that you can spend eternity in paradise with him. 1 John 4:10 “…God is love, not that we loved him but that he loved us first” I always had trouble comprehending this sort of selflessness. I had my questions. It wasn’t until I had stopped asking question after question and starting noticing all the ways God was trying to answer them. He has shown me throughout my life so many time how much he cares for me and wants what is best. I just had to listen. He loves you so deeply that he has planned out every step of your life to suit you best. For your own happiness and wellbeing. All he ask is that we trust him. That is love.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but  have everlasting life”

Keep an eye out for my next post on love. I could go on and on about the subject and I plan on it.
