I HATE Myself

Ok so I don’t really hate myself but it got your attention didn’t it. Although I am quite fond of the woman I am today there have been times in my life when I absolutely loathed who I was. I Couldn’t stand the thought of the person I was and the things I had done. I couldn’t let go of the past and wasn’t able to see a good future. So often we spend way to much time comparing our lives and our selves to others that we over look our own God given beauty. We dwell on past mistakes instead of forgiving ourselves and doing our best not to make them again. We pick out the worst parts of ourselves and think on them until it’s the only thing we can see and the wonderful parts of us dwindle away from our minds.

I’m here to tell you that you will be a much happier person if you learn to love yourself the way God does. If you could only see yourself through his eyes you would be unstoppable. The peace that comes with being comfortable in your own skin is priceless. You spend the majority of your time with you. Wouldn’t you rather enjoy your own company than despise the one you have to hang out with all the time. I can honestly say I enjoy being me most of the time. I try to see myself through His eyes and not my own. Concentrating on the things I’m good at and what I do best. The world is a cruel place. People will criticize and ridicule you for the rest of your life. It will be such an easier world to live in if you don’t join them by criticizing and ridiculing yourself. Let them be the miserable ones and you focuse on loving you. You can’t properly love someone else unless you love yourself. I don’t care where your from, what you do or have done, how much money you make or don’t make you are a wonderful human being. You have huge potential and are precious because God says your are. Trust him, he is NEVER wrong!
