You want it? Fight for it! This could be used in so many different areas in my life. It has become very clear to me that things worth having are going to require fighting for. That things won’t just magically work themselves out. A continuous attitude of “I will make this happen no matter how much work it is”, is going to be a necessity throughout my entire life. Life is hard. It’s a simple statement that may seem a little cynical but I assure you I mean it in the most opposite of ways.
Once God has put something on your heart you think it through, make a plan and stick to it no matter what obstacles come your way. As your journey begins it may start out with excitement then quickly turn to “is this really Gods will” if it is his will you would think he would just make it happen with no bumps in the road. However, that just isn’t how this life works. God allows obstacles to get in our way for several reasons. One reason could be maybe we need to slow it down take a step back and remember why we were called to do what we are doing it for in the first place. Perhaps there is a lesson to be learned in being patient. Maybe you’ve come across an obstacle simple because that’s life. Pick your self up and strive on. Stay the course God has planned for you.
Whatever your newest adventure is or wherever you are in your journey see it through until the end and I promise you will reap the benefits. Weather it be a new job, a job promotion, a change in life style, buying a house, a marriage or relationship. It could be something more simple like changing your diet, making more time to get closer to God or becoming more active in church. God will be on your side to guide you. He will back you up through it all just take the time to listen.God promises us good things as believers but he does not promise anything will come easily. Fight for the things you want and it will be well worth fighting for. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
