Banana Bread


This banana bread is so moist and delicious. It’s one I will defiantly be holding on to!


– 2 cups unbleached flour

– 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

– 1/2 tsp baking soda

– 1/4 tsp salt

– 1/4 cinnamon

– 1/8 nutmeg

– 2 eggs

– 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 5 bananas)

– 1 cup white sugar

– 1/2 cup oil

– 1/4 cup walnuts

For the glaze/swirl:

– 3 tbs flour

– 3 tbs brown sugar

– 3 tbs melted butter

Preheat the over to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg in smaller bowl. Smash together bananas, eggs, oil, sugar and walnuts.  Mix well (there will be banana lumps) then add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Pour into a bread pan. Next add you glaze mixture and swirl it into the bread with a knife. Pour batter into a slightly greased bread pan.  Bake at 350 for 30-40 min. Depending on your oven. Let cool for 10-20 minutes before taking it out of your pan. Enjoy!
